Adventure beckons for Ollie Ollerton as he partners with Terratoura for mission Ama Dablam

In association with Terratoura, Davanti Tyres is sponsoring TV personality Ollie Ollerton as he embarks on an epic mountain climb in the Himalayas, Ama Dablam. 

Terratoura has been designed to tackle extreme conditions from deserts to frozen icescapes to rocky terrains, so it is the perfect partner as Ollie undertakes his gruelling pre-deployment training schedule. 

As adventure beckons for the former Special Forces soldier, Davanti Tyres has also kitted out Ollie’s VW Amarok with Terratoura’s to ensure he has predictable, reliable handling when travelling from A to B for crucial outdoor training ahead of the challenge.

The trek will take place at the beginning of November, when Ollie will climb alongside Nims Purja, an experienced mountaineer and star of documentary, 14 Peaks Nothing Is Impossible.

“I’m excited! This is an amazing challenge for me and one that I’ve been training for both mentally and physically for an intense period of time, and we still have a way to go. 

“I’m 52 this year and feel amazing. Challenges such as this keep me in a great state of mental health. I truly believe the focus should be on our mental wealth and how we are investing in ourselves daily; that’s the answer to good mental health in my opinion. 

“I hope that me undertaking this challenge can inspire people to embrace the ethos behind ‘Adventure Beckons’ and use this to motivate some changes in their lives to ensure they’re making the most of every moment.
